Ricky's Canteen Poke Street Food

As a longtime fan of SRG, I was thrilled to see Koch Henry back. The Cuban sandwich is absolutely the best I've ever had! And the black beans are simply incredible. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I'm so glad we discovered this amazing chef! I've enjoyed his food ever since his time at Txochos in Winter Park, and we later tried his Spanish barbecue. The poke bowls were absolutely delicious, and the beer and wine selection is impressive. We will definitely be coming back!

Ricky's Canteen is an amazing new Poke Bowl restaurant and bar with a modern, trendy design and outstanding service. The food is fresh, delicious, and served quickly. The staff at the bar are not only friendly but also have a great sense of humor. It truly reflects the local vibe and the spirit of New Smyrna Beach. Our family has been here since 1948, and we all absolutely love it!

Delicious food and a friendly staff. You're on tap. I was understandable that wasn't warm, but they assured me it was good. You were absolutely right, it's very tasty. They have a wide selection of Poke bowls and very fresh ingredients. I love the greens base. All the specials I tried were phenomenal, everything was so good! I think I'm addicted...

Ricky's is a solid three star for a new restaurant, with definite room for improvement. The food was pretty good, but the menu and ordering cards were a bit confusing. Something about every dish we ordered (and there were many) was just a little off, but overall quite tasty. The biggest problem was that as soon as we entered the door, we were hit by some smoke and the smell emanating from the kitchen. They really need to get that in check quickly. I'll be giving Ricky a little while to settle in and will visit again sometime.
