Hometown Diner - New Tecumseth

Gone gone gone with the best chicken soup ever! The next time we went there they were GONE - you never know why good cooking won't matter to make a place stay in business.

Too bad this place closed, they used to offer family friendly meals and my son loved the giant cookies, possibly not a good location in town as nothing seems to stay in that plaza across from the highschool.

I eat out frequently so I get tired of fast-food and expensive meals so I Often come here for hearty dinners; meatloaf or lasagna, or a good sandwich / beef dip / soup for lunch. Chef's salad is beyond the usual iceburg lettuce with a nice homemade dressing too. And the 5 oz burger is Really Good, loaded down as my favourite burger in town And the best value. I reccomend it :)

The place was clean, the staff were friendly, the food was decent and quick, and the prices were completely reasonable. You're not getting eggs benny and you're not getting waffles here. It's pancakes or eggs meat toast homefries. The OJ was from a can. but it was a very cold can served with a large (spotless) glass with some ice.Not remotely close to fancy and it's not exceptional really (Guy Fieri will not be visiting any time soon) but above average as a simple diner breakfast if that's what you want. Maybe 3/5, but I'm going 4/5

This place is great, very clean, service is great too can't say enough good about this place you can get homemade baked goods, breakfast is great too servings are great size a great bang for your buck and definately try the 5oz burger you won't be disappointed! I come here everytime I'm in town
