The decor was lovely, and the food was delicious. However, the service took quite a while. I don’t believe it was the staff's fault, though; the server was very apologetic and mentioned that they were overwhelmed with a high volume of delivery orders. We did notice deliveries going out every few minutes. I actually felt sorry for our waitress, as she was very attentive, but there wasn’t much she could do under the circumstances. I would definitely go back.

Excellent service! This is my favorite spot for Indian cuisine in the neighborhood.

Our experience was lovely at this new, neighborhood restaurant until the bill came. They charge $12.00 for a medium sized bottle of Pellegrino water. Since I thought it was an error I mentioned it to the server to which she nervously replied that yes, it is correct and we have had this issue with customers before. There was no manager at the time so they called the owner who instructed them to charge $8.00. Then he came back and said “ok...$6.00”. I found this to be in such poor taste, embarrassing, and a lack of business acumen on the part of the owner. Especially for a brand new neighborhood restaurant looking to attract new customers among the many other choices for Indian cuisine. How about... “Thank you for coming in tonight. The water is on us and we hope to see you again soon!”. Despite this, the food was very good. Beware of ordering bottled water without being told the ridiculous price upfront!

This place never ceases to amaze me. Today, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try the chicken korma, and it was absolutely delicious!
