Dowling’s At The Carlyle - New York

Cafe Carlysle is a gem, in the old New York style which is so rapidly disappearing. But of course, if you want an evening of wonderful music, and lively conversation with virtually any other guest, when in New York visit Bemelmann's Bar, right next door. I'm there at least once a week, on average, and have been going for years. If you do visit Bemelmann's, look for Tim, who has been with the establishment for 30 years, and may, indeed, be the best bar man in North America. I kid thee not.

The best hotel because of the people here. It's a dream being here...even though we are not celebrities we felt as though we were. The service is hands down the best we have ever experienced. We just got married and ended out our journey being here which was my surprise gift from my husband. Love this historic hotel..special thanks to Johnathan at the front desk for being so amazing.
