Five Mile Stone - New York

Great restaurant for watching a sports game or an event on TV. Upstairs has a large projected screen for this. Food was phenomenal. The baked Mac and cheese, whipped ricotta, and pomegranate salad were my favorite items. Good vegetarian options. Not many vegan choices. Meg was our server. Meg appeared to be kind during our short interaction but she did not come back to check on how the food/drinks were going. Had to really make an effort to get their attention for the bill as well. Would appreciate a bit more attention to guests.

The food was in the average. service was weak not attentive. He said he was usually the bartender, and I suppose only fill in, but not my problem.

In the afternoon much too dark. no vegan options or even decent vegetarian option.

We enjoyed our brunch at Five Mile Stone. Service was prompt and pleasant. Overall the food was very good. Unfortunately the muffin on the eggs Benedict was not toasted as requested but I think this had more to do with the server than the kitchen.

Great brunch menu delicious Benedicts. Nice local dining option.
