Jacques Torres Chocolate Grand Central Terminal

Chilly winter morning here in Midtown Manhattan. First time trying Cafe Grumpy in the Grand Central Terminal. Aromatic coffee blend smells to die for with super friendly service. I couldn’t decide between the vegan banana walnut muffin or the sugar plum danish… so I had both

Friendly and happy stuff, coffee is great and they have oat milk for your latte (Oatly).

Love going here because of their everything is practically $2 menu. Great tea spices and blends. Quality coffee, and great taste treats and bites of pastries and bake goods. This is a go-to when wanting to get your coffee boost on a budget.

Their 12 oz iced Americano was just ok not bold enough for my taste. I also got the blueberry scone which was good. Whole experience was neither bad nor great. Another visit I tried their cheddar chive biscuit which was good. The texture was chewy and the scone had a slight kick to it. They get their pastries from Colson patisserie.
