Margari Pizza - New York

This restaurant has recently been shut down by the Health Department due to extremely poor sanitation practices.

This pizza place in the neighborhood is fantastic. I've tried a variety of items from the menu such as pizza and pasta, and I can confidently say that you won't find a better place for pizza and pasta in the area. You can either grab a quick bite or sit down and enjoy the classic atmosphere of a New York City pizzeria. I highly recommend it.

4.5. I have been living in this neighborhood almost 10 years. We all know that majority of late night eats is limited around here. I will say their food is exceptionally well and so is the service . They always answer the phone , very helpful with your order and actually follow their own menu and instructions . I have been on the hunt for decent stuffed shells with ricotta cheese that wasn't covered in marina, or the shells actually cooked properly and to have ricotta. The way it was meant to be they delivered . They stick by their menu and with their open and closing time. I ordered a slice as well and asked to be extra crispy they followed . Their desserts fantastic . This is a much happy discovery . Especially on weekends, instead the few/cafes and pizzeria around which has gotten terrible. They are very prompt with their time . Bonus, they take cash just in case you had one of those incidents of forgetting or losing you wallet lol . I'm very happy they are here. They would have received a 5 but, I couldn't understand the delivery guy! It was a bit of back and forth.

Saw this place on Seamless and decided to give it a try. Happy I did! Got their vodka pizza and really liked it. It was doughy which I appreciated and had great flavor. Will definitely be ordering from them again soon.

Lived in the area not too far from Margari and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and how lucky I was to have a solid, local pizza place. Not only is the pizza great, but all of the dishes, sandwiches, and other random items that they happen to chef up there are all delicious. And the best part, their prices are fantastic. If you're looking for quick order-in meal or just a slice in the area, this place is awesome.
