Olma Caviar Boutique & Bar - New York

Olma's eating, although limited, is very good. we have made a reservation because it is in the todd english dining room at the plaza and wanted a guaranteed table. it is a small place, but elegant. go, have caviar on a bilini and a glass prosecco, it was a fun experience. we ordered about olma on the line and had delivered caviar for new years and that was also a great experience. they must eat many bites and order more than a sandwich to be full, but do it, pamper!

It's tiny. but it was exactly what we wanted. kaviar. not the usual perseverance, but beautiful. not every day for us. good for a special day.

The service was excellent that they all talked to our requests. it was more of a restaurant with a pretty and romantic environment, but her caviar is by far the best we ever had and their prices are very reasonable! all in any case worth a visit to experience caviar in its most beautiful! thank you.

I took my husband to Olma bc he loves caviar and the tasting menu was intriguing--so hard to find Beluga these days. Given that Olma is on Open Table, I expected a small café type location tucked inside the Plaza Hotel...this is in the food hall (aka food court) beneath the Plaza Hotel. That said, they have carved out a small--3 tables and a bar--seating area and blocked off the food court traffic with a half-wall hedge . The food court is high-end (it is the Plaza after all) but the noise was a lot and the public bathroom line was long. That said, get the pate with cranberry and the caviar tasting was fun...it all ended up being fine but having the heads-up to what we were walking into would have been better.

What a hidden gem! The food hall beneath the Plaza Hotel is spectacular, and Olma Caviar Boutique and Bar is a little jewel box. Beautiful choice to caviar dishes, Champagnes and other light bites. My husband and I shared a caviar platter with a glass of Champagne before the theater and it was perfect. Definitely worth visiting.
