Don't order box E if you're expecting uni or ikura. Just order the cheaper one since they won't include it
The fish were not that fresh, especially the sea urchin. Most of the fish did not have much taste. But most appalling was the $50 corkage free for bringing our own wine. We heard the waiter say $15 but it turned out to be $50. That is just outrageous.
Congratulations Sushi Dojo, you’ve now lost two long customers who used to love this place. I have never written a bad review in my life but I’m utterly appalled at the horrific service experienced tonight after I have been coming here for years. We used to adore this place and while the food is great, we had an incredibly rude incident tonight, even right before Christmas. My boyfriend and I came in for the omakase experience as usual and we used a Pulsd deal we bought earlier this very morning, just for the host to turn us away and not offer our ticket we prepaid in advanced. Claiming they don’t use Pulsd anymore nor could they refund us. We have used a Pulsd deal at this restaurant before only 6 months ago and never had an issue. If they claim they’re no longer honoring it they shouldn’t be advertising on the Pulsd app to begin with. The host didn’t even offer to remedy the situation given their mistake, he simply said they couldn’t honor the tickets we prepaid for nor refund it. I can’t imagine any other restaurant that would turn away paying customers days before Christmas.
Great intimate atmosphere with the most attentive wait staff, and the most experienced sushi chefs I've had the pleasure of meeting. Definitely work the journey to try this place out.
