Taverna Kyclades - New York

I had not been back since the pandemic and it was a wonderful surprise to dine at the new location. Taverna Kyclades is maintaining its quality-obsessed approach which led the brand to its NY success. We always order the same items and they areconsistently prepared with excellence : the Greek salad is fresh, crispy and delicisiouly seasoned, the branzino is grilled toperfection, the lemon potatoes were dry, undercooked and needed more focused attention and the grilled octopus was as addictiveas usual. Of course the complementary custard is as unique as the rest of the dinner. I love it so much that sometimes I wouldactually buy a whole tray to take home with me.

The best Greek restaurant in NYC for sure! One of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood! It?s always a long line of wait, so be sure to be there earlier or make a reservation in advance. The seafood was awesome and the outdoor dining was very niceespecially during the sunset, feels like in Greece! The branzino was our favorite, and the roasted baby shark is also yummy! Wehad an amazing night dining here, will come next time with family and friends to try more dishes!

Good food and overall quick and good service. The prices compare to the size of the portions are also very reasonable. Possible to find parking if arriving by car or just hop on the subway.

Always busy and always amazing! This is a great place to over order if you’re so inclined. If you don’t want to wait, get there early; a 30 min wait is average. We loved everything and shared what we ordered (two people): muscles appetizer was delicious, the house made tomatoes sauce really was a fantastic medium for the tender muscles scallops broiled to perfection with oil and garlic lemon potatoes!!!! all entrees come with delicious bread which we used to sop up more of the tomato sauce

If I could give ten stars I would. Heck take it to 11, the staff was over the top friendly and inviting. Service was excellent. They worked together to create a seamless dining experience. Now the food… amazing portions and so so so tasty. We had the stuffed sole, grilled chicken, and to top it off, Altin our waiter brought us desert and a couple shots to cap off the meal. Highly recommend eating here.
