Trattoria Belvedere - New York

Did I miss something? Rave reviews from others, when I can't assess our meals being any more than average.

The MOA Hotel may be a bit shabby and not very upscale, but the food it serves is exceptional. The staff is superb and impressively well-informed about the menu. The service is fast and attentive. The pasta dishes are cooked to perfection, the sauce exceeds expectations, and the salads are fresh with a variety of vegetables. I would definitely return. However, I would advise skipping the bruschetta as it was not very good. It is made with cold grilled bread (not freshly toasted), topped with grilled onions, sausage, or cheese.

I have dined here multiple times, but this most recent experience was an exception.

The waiter was friendly and professional, but had too many tables. The food was salty and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. He used to enjoy this place, but will probably not be back now.

We came to the MOA to eat here. We celebrated our anniversary. We love to come here and it was Father's Day, another reason we chose this place. We have been coming here for some time and have never been disappointed. The food is always great and it is just a quiet place to enjoy.
