Bidra med feedbackFast casual chain with multiple locations in nyc. the entire restaurant is gluten-free. the grilled tofu is delicious, falafel is good, and they can build a bowl with salat or quinoa and tons of sweet. if they are a group of some vegan, some vegetarian, and some omnivores, little beet is a home trip. customers are mainly natives working in the surrounding office buildings. but if they are a tourist, this place is great because they can go to bryant park, empire state building, grand central, times square, etc.
I love this place absolutely. I have asked several workers which options are vegan and they all know immediately. they can also choose vegan on the website to see one of the options. there are several vegan food options (at least seven) and four vegan protein options (tofu, bbq jackfruit, sesame avocado and falafel). there are also grains and greens that can be used as bases for the shells, or they can do all nice. all sauces are vegan, even the aioli! great portions for the price also.
The food was really fresh and tasty! I love that my vegan and omnivore daughters can both eat there and have lots of delicious options! Also, the guys that work there were super helpful and had great customer service!
I recently tried a "Chipotle style" restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and my food was quickly prepared and served in a to-go container. I particularly enjoyed the tofu, beans, and quinoa, although I wasn't a fan of the rice noodles. I would definitely return as they have a variety of options for vegan and gluten-free diets, and the food quality was excellent.
Wandering around NYC on our first day, we started looking for a place to eat that was “near” Times square that had gluten free options. Little Beet is a chain that has several different locations across New York. This particular location was pretty small with very limited seating. The menu is on a screen that is changing which makes it a bit challenging to decide what to get. The menu also states that their entire menu is gluten free. My partner chose the falafel bowl and I chose the brussel sprouts bowl. The person building my bowl asked me if I wanted to leave off the cheese and I thanked him for asking as I am also dairy free. As my bowl was passed along, I mentioned to the next person to please leave off the cheese and she informed me that the brussel sprouts salad already had cheese mixed in. My partner offered to switch bowls with me, so I ended up eating the falafel bowl and he thought I got the better deal. The falafel itself was really delicious, but combined with the sauce and the guacamole, it was to die for. I will be thinking about that bowl for months to come. The brussel sprout bowl was fine, but just wasn’t a star like the falafel bowl. We considered going back just to get another falafel bowl but didn’t end up having a chance. Highly recommend!
