Amsterdam Ale House - New York City

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Our server, AC, was fantastic. He helped my husband choose his dinner and he was right on the money. AC was funny, entertaining, and really made our experience wonderful. He even made sure we made it to the Andy Grammer show on time. As for the food, my angus burger was absolutely delicious - the best burger I've had in a long time. My husband's fish tacos were also terrific. Our son had the Bison burger and he said it was amazing too. Thank you for making our first night out in a long time so memorable. We will definitely be back!

I have been to this restaurant several times and it is a good local neighborhood bar. They have plenty of outdoor seating, both in the front and on the side, as well as a large sheltered area by the curb. They offer a wide variety of craft beers on tap and have a full menu available. The service was quick and attentive - the hostess seated us outside immediately and our server came to our table right away. They even provided a water dish for my dog. I did find the mozzarella sticks to be on the thinner side, but I suppose that's just how they are these days. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy a drink and some food.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing. The beef chili is the best I have ever tasted!

This place is a great bar! ???? Amsterdam Ale House ???? offers a wonderful selection of beer ???? on tap alongside classic bar food. ???? Definitely come during Happy Hour (3pm ???? to 6pm ???? on weekdays) for their low drink prices! ????? Service is quick and staff ????????? is friendly! I wish I came here earlier!

A small beer selection with good bar food. We stopped her for dinner one evening. Wife had the French Onion soup to eat. It tasted good. I chose to have the Tuna burger with the onion rings, with a Maudite to drink. The burger was great. Packed with flavor and fresh vegetables on top. It was hard to put down. The onion rings were crisp and perfectly breaded and fried. The Maudite was cool, crisp, had a nice taste of a Barley ale. If I could stock that on the regular, backhome, I would do it!
