Bidra med feedbackThe appetizers, meat, some of the pasta, and the service were all quite good. The octopus was cooked and seasoned to perfection. However, they didn’t serve any bread or olive oil, which was a bit disappointing. The only dish that fell short was the mushroom pasta; the mushrooms were a bit too crunchy for my liking, and the pasta had a very grainy texture. I think if the pasta had been made simply with just flour and egg, the flavors would have come together much better.
We ordered the carbonara, tagliatelle, and burrata for two people. It definitely filled us up, and I can't wait to go back!
I visited this restaurant 2 or 3 years ago with my family and absolutely loved it! They have, without a doubt, the best carbonara in NYC—no exaggeration! Everything we ordered today was fantastic, and the chef and staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
Some of the best risotto and carbonara we?ve had in a while!! Risotto was very flavorful, and had generous portions of meat. Carbonara was very peppery and also would recommend. Great service as well!
I absolutely love this place! It?s In a food hall setting but that doesn?t take away from the great service and high quality food you get. EVERYTHING is delicious but the bucatini and carbonara pastas are my all time favorite! I also highly recommend the bone marrow, charred octopus and Brussels sprouts. Their beer selection and cocktails are also great! Overall, you can?t go wrong with this spot. And to the people who are saying the portions are small, well this isn?t Olive Garden, when serving high quality food there must be portion control. Prices are very reasonable and portions are enough and very fulfilling.
