The wait staffs are very friendly and came by often to see if we needed anything. I have ordered the Salmon Lover the last couple of times I was there and it was always fresh.

CLOSED!?After being a delivery customer for a spell, I decided to go in for lunch and ended up coming here every Friday for last few years. I never actually got the name of the chef/owner or the nice lady who always served me. They were so kind to me and when I came after 3 they 'd always say we were worried youweren 't coming or where had I been if I missed a Friday( which only happened when I was out of town)Two Fridays ago the chef had just received a giant side of toro and he called me over to the the bar and gave me nice little toro treat as I watched work his magic. It was my best visit there yet.I came back last Friday to find him packing the place up!Noooooo! He told he meant to tell me that he was in negotiations with his scumlord and things might not work out and they didn 't. He says he 's not sure where he 'll go but it might not be in NYC. He told me he 'll keep the name no matter what. We hugged and I told him he will be fine wherever he goes. Look out for them in the city or possibly Long Island. So sad and infuriating. I 'm sure this place will sit empty while his former POS landlords waits for a ridiculous rent they 'll never get.
