The View At Battery Park

The food was enjoyable overall. I ordered the halibut with fingerling potatoes and green beans, while my boyfriend had the steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, along with avocado on the side. Unfortunately, my fish was overcooked and dry, but since we were in a hurry, I didn't send it back. The green beans arrived five minutes after our meals, but they were delicious. The potatoes needed a bit of salt, but once I added it, they tasted great. My boyfriend really liked his steak and potatoes.

Nice atmosphere with an unmatched view. It appears there isn't a standard elevator inside, but there is an exterior ADA-compliant elevator available. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an exterior elevator.

We were really looking forward to our visit, as it came highly recommended by close friends living abroad. We made a reservation expecting a high-quality experience, but we were very disappointed to find that the main restaurant was taken over by a wedding, and we weren't informed about it beforehand. As a result, we ended up in a small, cramped room. We requested to sit outside, which they accommodated, but unfortunately, rats were scurrying around, making the experience quite uncomfortable. Because of this, we will definitely not be returning or recommending this restaurant to any of our friends.

They promote a beautiful view but unfortunately this was not available due to them having an event. This (the fact that I'd have no view) was not disclosed to me until 1 hour before dinner when it was too late to change my plans. I feel that this should have been disclosed.

Was invited to attend a wedding at this location. To be frank this place was good! Cocktail hour had a good spread. The food was good. Service was great and bartender was funny! I would say the person running the show for the wedding was a bit unorganized but I'm not sure if they are tied into this particular restaurant. As for the location. It's weird. FYI ! FOR ALL DRIVERS. YOUR GPS WILL DIRECT YOU BEHIND THE RESTAURANT! NO there's no parking there unless you're a worker or have a permit there. Only drop offs. The entrance is oddly inside the park so you'll have to find street parking or private. Overall, I had an amazing time food, booze, and company hit all my checklist! Only complaint is the weird entrance and the public bathrooms outside and inside was a bit weird cause we had a few tourist coming in and checking out our cocktail hour.
