Banh Mi Boy - Newark

We just moved here and loved that we found a place for banh mi. flavorful fillings with fried tofu and pick everything on a warm crispy French brot. feels like home.

Very tasteful eating, fast service, friendly staff, super casual atmosphere. the one suppe on the menu (the stellar is) is vegan. also there are three different vegan huagies, plus each of the different tofu fillings can also be served on rice. excellent vegan fresh rolls big and fresh! will definitely be back here. good for mixed quantity (bread and non-bread.)

Brot is beautiful and crispy on the outside and soft in. very simple fillings, well executed. owner was very friendly and mentioned that they have other vegan banh mi that are not on the menu!

Vegetarian options are hard to come by in Delaware, Bahn Mi Boy is a great go to when I'm in Newark. It's priced right, the sandwiches are delicious, and the owner and all of the people who work their are really nice. A while ago they added a couple more vegetarian sandwiches, I believe it was a lemongrass tofu and a mock pork, but I still love the OG the best. Definitely the way to go if you are in town.
