La Tonalteca Christiana, De - Newark

This restaurant is quite good, but it's a bit pricey for my taste. The decor is classic Mexican, with lots of red and images of Frida Kahlo adorning the walls. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of Mexican cuisine. However, for me, the cost is a bit too high, so I can only visit for special occasions or as a little treat. Just a heads-up: the drink menu doesn’t list prices, so it's wise to ask first if you're on a budget.

So if you happen to have Karen as your server, don't hesitate to request her! She's completely dedicated to making sure her tables are well taken care of. Thank you, Karen! When we come back, we'll definitely ask for you.

Food is delicious and comes super fast. Suggest the Sangria Margarita!

The food was delicious, and I’d love to try their burritos on my next visit. Unfortunately, my waitress wasn't very attentive. However, I was fortunate that another waitress noticed I was ready for my check and called my waitress over.
