No No's - Newburg

We love to dine out, and yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic restaurant that came highly recommended by friends. We had a delightful evening, enjoying exceptional cuisine and efficient service from a professional staff. We've added this restaurant to our favorites list on our phones, and we will definitely be returning soon. We highly recommend it!

The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations and experiencing growing pains. It's advisable to make a reservation and arrive early. On a Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m., we placed our order for shrimp and the prime rib special around 8:15 p.m., but our food didn’t arrive until 9:10 p.m. The baked French onion soup (which was the last one available) was delicious, and the frog legs, while a bit greasy, were flavorful and tender, easily falling off the bone. We'll definitely return, but might wait until the issues are resolved.

The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, but both the dining room and bar are still open. The service is exceptional. I have to give two thumbs up from two different people for the vodka gimlet and Long Island iced tea. I enjoyed the chicken cordon bleu, which was absolutely delicious. The menu offers a good variety, making me eager to return and try different dishes. They also have prime rib and surf and turf options available. If you're a fan of Brussels sprouts, I highly recommend swapping them in for the usual potato side with your meal; you'll be pleasantly surprised!
