Old New York Deli Bakery Co.

I visit this place several times a week and have always received a warm welcome and attentive service. Although they don’t know my name, that’s perfectly fine with me. The food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend the morning cakes or pancakes, which are my personal favorites. Also, their Vanilla Nut Coffee is my favorite among all the places I’ve tried.

Overall, my experiences during breakfast and lunch have been quite positive, but I wouldn't say the food is life-changing. Last time, I enjoyed some excellently textured potato pancakes. On the other hand, I wasn't as impressed with the bakery. The items look appealing but can be disappointing, especially the cupcakes, which have a dry and bland cake base. However, the cheesecake is fantastic; I tried a fat-free, sugar-free version that was rich, incredibly soft, and indulgent. The staff here is among my favorites in Newbury Park, and the atmosphere is lovely. It feels somewhat deli-like, especially with the jazz music playing. They also have good seating, outlets, and free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot for studying or perhaps even writing the next great American novel.
