The Social - NEWCASTLE WEST

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this small restaurant while waiting for some photos. The staff member working there was very friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow, but there was only one person working and it was busy! I ordered a latte, and my children got a caramel slice and a blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We paid $13 for three items. There was also seating in the back that was child-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The kids were entertained with books and dominoes. We will definitely be returning!

Friendly service without being over the top, The coffee is great and they also make the best babyccinos.

My girlfriend and I grabbed some coffees from this place. They were amazing and i can say it is the best coffee in Newcastle by far, we actually didnt speak while we were drinking it because it was so amazing we couldnt get enough. Great job guys !

What a delightful little cafe! The decor of the place is just like a Cuban Havana club and they have sets of dominoes which you can play whilst you wait for your coffee (every cafe should have this!). The service was excellent as well as incredibly friendly and the cuban coffee was amazing, made by a deconstructed lever espresso machine which was very interesting. I also had a breakfast tortilla which was so full of flavour and really delicious.

Have only had coffee here and it was over 12 months ago so would suggest a more recent review from anyone going there. Don't be put off by part of town it's located.
