My favorite breakfast spot is Armory Wharf, located beside the sparkling river and a fantastic playground—a must-visit for families in Sydney Olympic Park. I typically start my day with the big breakfast, but if I miss their breakfast hours (open until 11:30 am), I opt for the eggs Benedict. For lunch, I can’t resist heading straight to the pasta section; the chili prawn linguine is a standout dish that offers an exotic flavor (it can be a bit spicy), but it's only available during the summer and spring. In the winter and autumn, I go for the crab pasta, which never disappoints. Overall, the salads and kids' meals at Armory Wharf are some of the best I’ve ever tried. The combination of delicious food and beautiful scenery is definitely a bonus, even if the location is a bit inconvenient.
I love this place. Sat by the window with a girl friend. I ordered the chilli prawn pasta, which was delectable. Fries were yum too, but they came out cold, so we had to ask them to reheat it up for us.<br/ <br/ The entire atmosphere and the park outside is just gorgeous for a lovely day outing.
Great place for lunch on the weekend we've been here several times, often after cycling in the area. It's by the water so you get good views and a nice breeze if you're outside. The serving sizes and generous and the service is pretty good. They are busy and the food comes/turns over fairly quickly. They charge 10% extra for weekends and public holidays, so just know that when looking at the menu prices. I also quite enjoy their housemade sodas, which are good in a jar serving.
This cafe has been on my list for years! I live fairly close by, and the fact I had never been definitely didn't sit well with me. For a lazy Sunday brunch we headed to the wharf, and ordered the corn fritters along with the vegetable frittata. We also ordered some iced tea and a fresh smoothie too. First thing, the serving sizes are quite substantial! We really struggled to finish the fritters. The fritters were quite tasty and the greens certainly lightened up the otherwise heavy corn fritter itself. The smoothie was fresh though a little sweet for my liking. I also wished they had house iced teas but really not a major issue. The frittata was tasty and well seasoned, and the sweet potato chips were a wonderful accompaniment to them too. The salad was average but still went well with the warm frittata. Service here is friendly and the food was brought out to us quite quickly too. The spot is really quite nice and there is a lovely walk around the cafe too. It's quaint and fairly quiet which is great for a lazy brunch :
