Big Catch - Newmarket

First fish and chips with Atlas. Went to the big catch for lunch. Lots of students grabbing lunch there. Took a seat at one of their booths, they also have table and chairs. Friendly staff. I got the halibut and chips and Misch got the haddock and chips with gravy. As we know Misch is obsessed with fish and chips thus earned the Misch and chips. She rated their food 9/10, great fries, super crispy, fresh fish and good batter as well as the gravy. The one mark missing is coleslaw. I think that should’ve been included. I use to go here all the time. Haven’ t been here in 4 or 5 months. The hamburger and fries was my top choice now it taste like a prefrozen grocery store burger and the fries tasted stale and kind of soggy like the oil wasn’t hot enough. Im not sure what has changed but you need to change it back. I noticed there’s a different cook. Get the old man back in there ASAP please. It pains me to write this review. ?

Really solid fish and mozzarella sticks from this restaurant. Fish was juice and nicey fired, good tartar sauce, great moz sticks. Fries were only ok not my favourite. Friendly staff. Def eat here again.

Restaurant was cold, needed to ask them to adjust temperature. Ordered Halibut chips, batter was over done to point of being hard. Tartar sauce was runny and the coffee was not drinkable. I think what will stop me from going again however is the wooden tray my meal was served on. I don’t think they can’t be properly cleaned.
