Cynthia's Chinese Restaurant

I like Cynthia's, if for no other reason than it is completely accepting of its own drama.

They hover over you like flys on **** too grab a plate How many dishes do they have Food is passable kinda greasy but nice atmosphere Great for children

This is an okay option for Chinese food if you are in the areaLunch menus have good selection and ok value.

My husband and I just moved to this area and I really did not know where to grab take out. I decided to walk into this restaurant to order take out for my husband who was stuck at work. Like any normal customer, I began looking at the menu. In the background, I kept hearing a lady ask, "Ma'am what is your number?" For a moment I thought she was on the phone until I brought up my head and noticed she was speaking to me. I then asked why they needed my number since I was physically there to order. She then frowned and said something in Mandarin, luckily my business partner (who is Oriental and understands Mandarin) had called me, I quickly asked him what the word that the lady used meant and he said, "IT MEANS THAT YOU ARE STUPID, YOU ARE DUMB." THIS IS EXTREMELY DISGUSTING TO KNOW THAT NOT ONLY HAVE YOU PAID THIS RESTAURANT FOR THEIR FOOD, BUT THEY END UP INSULTING YOU AS WELL! I confronted the lady and she began raising her voice telling me that it meant a females name (which is absolutely false.) Unfortunately, they think just because a non-Oriental individual walks in their facility they won't know what is said about them in Mandarin.

Used to be my fav Chinese food restaurant. Very disappointed with my last meal. Chicken dish was very bland. Shrimps OK but the Pad Thai was sweet! So sweet it should have been served up with ice cream. Whats going on? Get it together guys.
