Teriyaki Experience - Newmarket

Can't go wrong with the shrimp teriyaki on rice with half the sauce. This is my go-to meal at any Teriyaki.

The protein bowel has a very small chicken portion. Not worth the money. Especially as it only comes with chicken and vegetables.

I had a terrible experience ordering from this restaurant yesterday. I've been a loyal customer for years, and the food has always been good until now. I ordered rice with beef and chicken, and by the time I reached the bottom of the bowl, I discovered a small worm or maggot in my rice. It was incredibly unappetizing and made me feel nauseous. What has happened to your restaurant? I won’t be returning to this location again in the future.

I ordered the beef teriyaki with rice and was disappointed to find only seven small pieces of beef on top. When I asked if this was really all I was getting for $20, the response was simply... "that's enough." I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're able to see what you're getting before you pay! The woman behind me was expressing similar frustrations.

This location was a complete disappointment. While we don't have high expectations for fast food in a mall, we certainly didn't anticipate it being this bad. Starting with the beef ramen, the beef was rubbery and flavorless, the egg was dull, and the vegetables were a letdown. Even the ramen itself was inferior to the cheapest instant noodles. As for the soup? Just terrible! Regarding the beef bento, the picture speaks for itself. If you're looking for good Japanese food, there are better options nearby.
