Arrived on a very wet and windy November evening (Monday to a very warm welcome by delightful staff. We were the only customers at that time, pre 6pm. Drinks were served with friendly chat followed promptly by a huge portion of chicken liver pate and warming tomato and pepper soup. This was closely followed by steak and ale pie for my husband and what was probably the nicest minted lamb shank I have ever had (except my own, of course! Lovely mash and veggies. Sadly no room for desserts The added bonus here is that my Blue Light card was graciously received well done all, we shall certainly recommend

After visiting on two separate occasions, with friends and family from the mainland. I would highly recommend this establishment. The staff are amazing and friendly, the menu's have such a great variety, with the kids menu's having such a good selection. Both occasions were very enjoyable and the staff were so welcoming.
