Easton's Beach Snack - Newport

We live from the state, but we love Easton Beach. The snack bar is conveniently located near the beach and the bathroom. We were a little shocked by the prices compared to our usual local seafood spots, but it is Newport, so I think this is to be expected. I recommend that you have lactose intolerance, as we ask you to make the lobster rolls without butter. We didn't know they grilled the rolls with real salted butter. We also had a problem that was double-charged by what I can assume was the square app they use for card payment, but the owner immediately got contact with us and we were able to fix the problem that the owner also refunds us one of our foods because we were not completely satisfied with him. Although our first experience did not exist what we had expected, we would definitely give them another attempt. The food we received was well cooked, we were only not used to cook the style of cooking. Next time we will try some of the other menu items and will most likely use cash to avoid any card issues.

The straightforward lobster roll is fantastic! The view is unbeatable. It's an excellent spot to visit after taking the Cliff Walk. The service is quick, and the fries are fresh. Grab a roll or two and head to the beach. The chowder is also delicious. Parking can be somewhat challenging. The lobster-to-bun ratio is just right, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality and the current market for lobster.

We enjoyed our "plain and simple" buttered lobster rolls so much that we had to come back the next day before leaving town. The clam chowder was also delicious. The owner was very kind, and we had a great view from the upper deck seating overlooking the beach. We can't wait to return!

Easton’s Beach Snack Bar is a fantastic seafood-themed eatery that offers a delightful selection of meals, including burgers, fries, churros, and shrimp, all accompanied by stunning views of Easton’s Beach. In September 2018, I treated my wife and myself to dinner there while celebrating our honeymoon in Newport, Rhode Island. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who provided excellent service, and our meals were well-prepared, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! I'm truly saddened by the news of the restaurant's temporary closure. I sincerely hope that Easton’s Beach Snack Bar will reopen soon, allowing future guests to enjoy the same wonderful experience that my wife and I had during our visit!

We made a curb-side order that was on time and I felt that the food was really fresh. I ordered the twin-lobster rolls and got the kids the fish and the chips. We all loved it. Lobster was perfect and I was happy to hear that they're making it fresh when you call to let them know you? I'll wait. Would highly recommend.
