Hofbrauhaus - Newport

So a fun experience! We came ignorant on the German day, but still immediately. The music was great with the decoration and uniforms the atmosphere is truly unique. I've been here a few times and recommend the German potato salad, potato pancakes, porridge with beer cheese and hot brown.

It's been about 11 years since we've been here. We stopped in today and everything was wonderful! Don't remember the food being so good! They've definitely stepped it up a notch since our last visit. The spatzle, giant pretzel, kraut, bratwurst were delicious. Only thing that would make it perfect is authentic veal schnitzel.

The food was very good. I had the jaegerschnitzel,german potato salad and fried cabbage . We got an apple strudel to take home and it was delicious.

We love Hofbrauhaus!!! My husband and I took our boys (ages 5 3) and we had the best time! My husband and I enjoyed the beer and authentic German...

Gumbo was really good today. Very spicy, lots of sausage. Great service.
