La Vecina - Newport

I absolutely adored all of the vegetarian choices at this restaurant. I have ordered from them twice now and have not been disappointed. The packaging is fantastic as well. This is a new takeout spot that is part of the Newport Restaurant Group. It is hands down the best Mexican food I have had in years.

The food was excellent, with amazing margaritas. We were fortunate to secure a reservation, as the restaurant was completely full!

I would have given 5 stars for food if the restaurant offered salsa!! To me it enhances the taste and makes the food more moist. Tomato chunks just don't do it for me. But, none of the restaurants in Newport that serve Mexican food offer it I really don't get it.

What a wonderful, warm and yummy experience! The food was excellent. Definitely try the street tacos and the salads. I can’t speak to the drinks all though they all sounded really good! We went for lunch but would love to return again for an evening. Looks like fun bar and atmosphere.

All around great! Excellent service. Delicious food. Will definitely be back.
