Pompilio's - Newport

I want to give special thanks to Larry and the rest of the staff at Pompilio for organizing my wedding reception this past weekend. We hosted around 60-70 guests outside on the back terrace and football fields, and our experience far exceeded my expectations. They coordinated with Arts Rental to provide a heated tent and lighting over the football fields to create additional seating. Everything was set up for us to come in and decorate early on Saturday morning, and we had access to the area all day as needed. Every single guest was blown away by how perfect the setup was and how delicious the food was. Honestly, the details of the event had very little to do with my husband and me—we only selected the menu and decorated the tables! I was a bit apprehensive about the buffet style since I’ve encountered some disappointing wedding buffets in the past, but every dish was fresh and tasty. They even kept the food coming until the next morning! Working with Larry was a dream; he was present and available all night, displaying utmost professionalism. The evening went off without a hitch, and we faced virtually no issues at all. Our bartenders and all the staff attending to us that night were outstanding as well. People often stress over their wedding plans for months, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy, enjoyable, unique, and unforgettable the entire experience at Pompilio was. I wouldn’t change a thing!

We happened upon this place by chance and couldn't be more delighted. It's so charming, and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend the homemade ravioli.

We've celebrated my wife's birthday at this restaurant for the past eight years, and each visit has been a memorable experience. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it!

What a sensational find! We originally planned to make an Italian restaurant in the city and found this magnificent local family and place and we were so impressed. Excellent food and service for a great price. They made us welcome and help us celebrate my mother's birthday with a free dessert. We will definitely be back in the area next time and I will recommend everyone he travels to Cincinnati.

The sampler is mostly sauce and our waitress was not friendly and never came back to offer refills. The salad was just lettuce cheese. It was ok. Not worth the price. The atmosphere was really cute though. 2.5 stars
