Rotolo Bowling Bocce Eatery - Newport

Between the broken, mash tracks and the useless slow bartender, really nothing good to say about this place. constantly had to wait for the bartender to serve people who showed up after us only to have visibly annoyed them to serve us. the track we had would not count properly. it is a waste of time to spend money here. please burn it instead.

We just killed time before the Reds game.Just a few cokes. We paid $5.00 each to play bocce, cornhole, or other games while waiting.

Bartenders seemed very disinterested in working on this particular Friday night, that's neither here nor there, though. They did their job, so that doesn't bother me as much as it does others. The setup is cool, with plenty of games woven throughout the building in addition to their bowling. Anything from corn hole to shuffle board to pool, and so much more. The drinks were fine, but the food was below average. The wings... we couldn't even finish. Had better quality at chain pizza places. We got a chicken flatbread, and the flavor was pretty good, but it was cooked unevenly and barely tasted finished towards the middle. They also have two outdoor patios and live music. So, I'd recommend going as a hangout spot, but I'd probably choose to eat somewhere in the area.

My wife and I were looking for a place to get a drink and food before going to a movie. I always felt like whenever I passed by Rotolo, there was none in there, so I was a little hesitant to stop. We are definitely glad we stopped in. They have a great drink selection and tons to do inside from bowling to bocce to basic table games. The food was also super good. We got a flat bread and meatball sandwich. The meatball sandwich was so good that it makes me want to go back.

A group of friends and I came here to celebrate a 21st birthday and the drinks were the WORST drinks I’ve ever had in my life. The bartender acted like she would rather have been dead than working (and we were extremely nice and tipped well)?! I ordered a vodka tonic which is really hard to mess up, and it was made completely wrong. Our total was $55 for 2 of us and 2 drinks each. I recommend the bowling but definitely skip the bar.
