Ultralife Cafe Nye - Newport

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. First, batistas... amazing. So nice and friendly. Second, food... amazing! As a vegan, there are so many options. I opted for a vegan strawberry poptart and a vegan burrito. Both of which were superb. ? And last, but maybe the most important, the coffee. So dang good! Strong and delicious!

This restaurant offers delicious coffee and has friendly staff. They have outdoor seating which is perfect for bringing along our dogs. The dogs really enjoyed the pup cups. It was a wonderful morning treat for all of us.

This cafe is amazing! It caters to everyone's needs, including those with sensitive stomachs like me. The quality of everything is top-notch and it's clear that they really care about their food, drinks, atmosphere, and customer service. I will definitely be returning here again. This cafe is a local favorite. Great coffee, the location is incredible, and this scone! The white chocolate raspberry scone was one of the best scones I've tasted. Scones are often a bit dry and crumbly. Not here. Highly recommend ??

Their sandwiches are also quite tasty, although nothing particularly noteworthy about them. The coffee is good when made correctly, but this is where my review takes a slightly negative turn. The customer service at this restaurant can be hit or miss. Unfortunately, most of the time their employees are slow, not due to being busy but rather seeming uninterested in serving customers. Orders are often forgotten, and coffee is typically prepared incorrectly. The employees appear to not want to be there, and even when the restaurant is empty, the wait for service is unusually long. Despite all this, I believe it is worth enduring the subpar service for the quality of their pastries, as they are not made to order and can be grabbed quickly. While it may seem impolite, I have found an alternative approach that works well for me. I purchase pastries from this restaurant and then head over to the coffee shop across the way, where the staff is much more friendly and efficient. Overall, this restaurant is worth a visit for their delicious pastries, and if you're lucky, you may encounter more attentive service as well.
