While I?m not going to tell you to steer clear of this restaurant, just be aware of the integrity that should come along with service, especially for a restaurant in Newport Beach. My group of 8 friends recently attended a dinner here after a Newport cruise nearby. Prior to coming in, everyone was on cloud nine from celebrating friendship and life. Roughly about 10 minutes after being seated, someone who barely spoke English uncomfortably told us something we couldn?t make out (red flag). We asked for someone else to explain. A waitress came out and requested us to leave, followed by an apology (another red flag). Perplexed, we politely asked for reasoning but they were not willing to share. Mind you, we have a group of very upstanding and high-functioning people within our group. After inquiring a little further and trying to reason with the staff, they remained silent so we decided to leave. None of us experienced anything like this so it left us confused/frustrated. It put a heavy damper on the rest of the night. Truly unfortunate seeing as this group of friends rarely see each other. Lastly, one of our friends called a few days later to speak with the Owner/Manager. Our hopes were to gain further understanding and hopefully rectify the situation. Unfortunately the staff wasn?t forthcoming as to where the Manager was and told us, ?feel free to write a Yelp review.? I really hate to devote time in writing a negative review as I have better things to do but I felt the general public should be aware. Essentially, go somewhere else. We?d recommend the restaurant Great Mex which is across the street should you be in the mood for Mexican. Sincerely hope this helps.

Great little place! Been there twice now in just over a month. They have excellent tapas and some really nice wines. I've had their tortilla, patatas bravas, pulpo, pan con tomate, chorizo, and many others, and they're all very tasty. You really can't find many true tapas places in OC. Definitely check it out!

Extraordinary vibes and super affable service. The food was crisp and enchanting. Will absolutely recommend this spot to others. Affordable prices and big portions. Great work.
