The Chicken Coop - Newport Beach

I had the honey brown sugar glazed ribs with the pig dogs—amazing! The service was top-notch, and the food is consistently excellent here. On December 5, 2022, I had the best pork tamales with rice and beans—so good! So much flavor!

I absolutely love this place! It's cozy and dimly lit. The staff is wonderful; they make you feel like part of the family. I'm drawn to come back just to experience it all over again. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. This is the perfect spot to visit when you’re super hungover (or really at any time) if you’re craving a delicious meal. I highly recommend Chicken Coop!

Jen and H are absolutely outstanding! There’s truly no better place in the area for top-notch service! We traveled over a thousand miles and sat at the bar in the Chicken Coop, where H was simply incredible! We had to return less than 24 hours later because we wanted to meet Jen, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences we've had in a long time! Thank you, Jen and H! We can't wait to see you again!

Cash only, very good ceviche platter, old fashion, customers seemed to know each other! Breakfast seems special. I also ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich and it had real hunks of steak, not the thin sliced pieces, well- depends on your preference. I'm going back to Oyster Bar!

Completely raw waffle!! Brought me a new one....still not cooked in the center...pics are of the amount I ate...still given a bill for 15.00
