Back Alley Pizza - Newton

Best bistro style pizza place around and the only place I've found that compares to our favorite Colorado mountain pizza spots we've missed since moving back to Kansas. Great atmosphere and service and the owner could not be more friendly when he's there working himself.

Cute decorations. Tasteyyyy pizza. Stopped by on our way back to KC area after touring the Salt Mine in Hutchinson. We will Definitely stop to eat here again.

Ordered pick up from here and wow.. disappointing. I wish I could say something better about something local. But spend your money at Pizza Hut, Casey?s, or even dominos. It was just paper thin bread. My pizza had barely any cheese, no sauce, and was burnt. The other pizzas we got had a little more but clearly they don?t make good pizzas or they didn?t care about this pick up order at all.

The pizza was excellent, service friendly and fast. The atmosphere and design is well thought out. Im impressed with what a terrific job of remodeling on the old building my old friend R Palmer did on making this modern old brick style building feel pleasant, clean and inviting. The various design items took some real thought and innovation. Im impressed. Definitely will come back now that I know its here. Can't believe its been here for 8 years and I didn't know about it!

Three words..red velvet cookie! Wonderful yumminess! The atmosphere is awesome. There are very clear Covid rules. Decent sized portions with nice side salads. Love that is local and very unique. Brick oven pizza that feels lighter than other types of pizza so it doesn?t sit heavy in your stomach. The bathrooms are fairly well marked and clean.
