Bidra med feedbackThe old Edward hicks Mansion converted to a bed and breakfast was a bit pricey but worth it. The food was exceptional. We did not stay in the bed and breakfast Nearby activities: Lots to do in historic newtown borough Service: 4 Location: 5
Had an event at the tavern. The staff was so helpful and professional and made our time there fantastic. The food is great too. Service: 5 Location: 4
Our experience started out a bit disappointing due to our check in being chaotic. The poor bartender was by herself to tend the restaurant and check us in. However, I felt bad for her and honestly, she deserves a raise for managing that situation herself. Our room was cozy (room 5) and I loved the historic charm of the building! The location is nice as there are many restaurants and shopping opportunities. Rooms: 5
So i cant believe no one else has complained about this...but i was staying in the hotel and its hard to sleep with live music till 10pm...rooms too close to the action they should give out free earplugs. I called and asked to move to a room farther from the music and was told that a room was available but would be 20$ more dollars. i feel like since room WAS empty (which it was) why not let me move to accomidate a guest who didnt know in advance how loud it would be...i really value sleep exspecially when i pay for a room to do it in. They should have earplugs given put complimentary. Update: I read their response (below) The employee who I spoke to on phone told me there WAS two rooms available the night I wanted it just told me there was an extra charge. Food drinks: Good
At first, when no one greeted us at the entrance, the thing went to the hill. Finally, a nice woman came out and found our reservation, although she commented on how the things were confused here. Maybe she compared it to the separate bar? then a man approached himself dressed in beaten jeans and an unused hemd that informed us that he would take care of us. I took my wife's weeping mission. he later appeared through a mysterious door in the room and went without closing it. later asked if we want to brot. finally took our order. supplied salate that we did not like. the most important courses. under-cooked salmon for them, beautiful scallops for me, although the kartoffels could use more warm. Finally, the room filled and we saw a series of men and women in dirty jeans who served the diners. no great experience.
