Went for Breakfast on Saturday morning. About 10ish. Was greeted by a lovely smiling waitress/server. After receiving a menu was asked if we could order at the counter. Ok now it feels like I'm at Mc Donald's. This is a fail in customer service as there is no customer service. After a relatively short wait and coffee served promptly we hear the bell go off as to say order up. Now we must have to go up and get our selfs as the waitress is busy talking to her friend and given that we have to order and pay at the counter you would guess this would be standard. But wait even Mc Donald's bring your food out to your table. Then we here a second ding this is either to remind someone an order is waiting to be picked up from kitchen or there has been a second order completed. Surprise surprise the waitress is rather deaf or her friend has something so interesting that he is talking about that she just can't tear her self away and do her job. I'm not going to ever rip into her as the management have set an example in the do it yourself attitude. Come up to the counter and order we don't give table service. Hey why not come up and cook your own food. Mmmmm Food that brings me to the reason I'm there in the first place. The good the bad and the ugly. The good. The caffe is not very busy at all. The food arrives rather quickly. Now just a heads up on this there are three staff working we have the lovely deaf smiling waitress engaged in the meaning of life the cook doing what he is employed to do and some 3rd party sitting in the Kitchen having her Breakfast. There are three diners one already eating and one ordered just after us. Our order is Eggs on toast with side of bacon, Eggs Benedict (ham). Now all looks yummy The Bad Bacon cold Benedict sauce cold Garnish on top of Benedict looks as if it's not fresh Coffee portion in little tiny tea cups as one would expect tiny. However I did like the little tiny tea cups very cute. Now one would expect that due to there not be a lot going on in the caffe that the food would have come out at the very least luke warm but no cold The Ugly The only Ugly is I need coffee the one I got at the caffe has not even touched the sides and I. Not paying a stupid amount of money for one mouth full. Value for money well way to expensive if you paying for food only however if customer service and hot food were included then I'd say reasonable. Maybe if we pay extra we would get these as well but I think that I'll go to another caffe that include this in their standard price. I don't think I'll be back I would expect that with three staff and only three customer every thing to be perfect. I could even excuse one down falling but this place fails on a multiple levels.

Ordered through menulog, the food arrived cold and soggy and the taste ranged from bland to a strange metallic taste throughout every dish, it literally made me gag to eat. Not to mention its greatly over priced. Waste of time and money.

Good breakfast selection and our meals were tasty and well cooked (perfect bacon). The portions were good, prices were more than fair and cafe is in a good location. Service was quick and helpful. Also coffee was good and strong- my long black had its creama intact :)

I decided to wander here after Scrambled was closed again for the second time I visited (first time was okay as long weekend but this week they just decided to close). I chose a table to sit at and the friendly waitress came over and handed me a menu. Service was good. Choices were fairly standard for a cafe so decided upon the Big Brekky (bacon, eggs, sausage, grilled tomato, mushrooms, sourdough toast) and a Coffee Frappe. The brekky was pretty good and tasted nice. The frappe had a nice coffee flavour. Just the small things like the scrambled eggs being slightly over and sausage being a little dry dragged the score down a little.
