Bidra med feedbackA very worth it experience, there is always something about big plates that make us swoon....would I order this again maybe but I'd like to try the other things first! Would like a bit more personal service though...? Like is this your first time having Turkish breakfast, these are the various jams...what should be paired with what? Instead of the here you go....enjoy!
Very high quality foods, in particular one of the best dishes is the chicken grill. Their homemade dips are great and they have great service.
My husband and I have eaten at the latest version of Ferah Café twice now. The food is far above the standard Turkish fare and the flavours are mouth-watering (the saksuka salad is to die for!). But on our last visit we noticed a disturbing trend. We ordered two delicious dips and they came with four measly pieces of Turkish bread - barely enough for a few mouthfuls. Then our main course, Ali Nazik Kebabi, arrived. The flavour was delectable, but we almost needed a microscope to spot the few tiny bits of lamb - not what I'd expect for a dish that cost $25! Owners of Ferah Café and Restaurant: your chef has created such delicious dishes, why spoil them by scrimping on basics like bread and a cheap cut of lamb? I doubt we'll be back now, which is a shame, because everything else about the place - ambience, service and all the rest - is superb ...
Came for the first time. The staff was very rude and telling us who can eat what item and who is not allowed to touch it, all because one of us wanted to get their own dish instead of a banquet item. Not everyone likes every dish in the banquet so you should not treat customers like this. I asked for sugar and by the time it came my tea was cold. The kasar cheese was warm and wiltering so was not kept fresh in the fridge. Not enough bread. The only good thing I can say is the menemen dish was pretty nice. Staff very slow and have no people skills
After minutes of pondering the takeaway menu I decided to settle with the chicken burger and a Sprite. I was watching the chef cook as its an open kitchen, which I loved by the way - all the ingredients looked fresh as well as the dips. You can tell they're made fresh and prepared the same day. When I saw the bun on the burger I really thought it would be your average burger from a takeaway shop but I was defiantly wrong. The burger was amazing right down to the bun it was seasoned as well as the chicken. The tziki sauce was so good I was licking it clean. All ingredients used were fresh and had so much flavor!
