This store has a lot going for it and they try and offer a large variety of off the shelf and fresh food products to serve most people. The day I went I was looking for a peanut-free option from bakery section only to see that they do not offer this. The lady said they don't have this option in the bakery section. I had help from a young gentleman who worked there to find something dessert- like in the frozen section and the special gluten -free aisle. They had only typical products like many other stores. A little disappointed. But for people who do not have to deal with allergies, you will find a large and varied selection of goodies.
We run into Commisso's for the Deli in the front by the huge windows. We like to enjoy the fresh sandwiches and pizza while watching the people from the big windows. The food is prepared every morning, and so good. For dessert, there is fresh gelato. The rest of the supermarket has all types of goodies too with a European flair. Definitely worth the stop.
Commisso's is a specialty grocer with an excellent delicatessen take out.The food is freshly prepared on a daily basis and has a range of primarily Italian cuisine based offerings. We have had several items and never been disappointed.Greta food at reasonable prices take out or eat in.
The dough is fabulous. I particularly love the veggie pizza. their pizza's are on the expensive side, running 20 plus dollars for a single large pizza. I think the veggie pizza is worth the price because I can't get a good veggie pizza anywhere else.
