Waffle House - Nicholasville

The food was hot and fresh. I was not in a Waffle House in a few years, but it seems that they have narrowed the menu a lot. I was hoping for pork chops or steak and eggs. No longer in the menu

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The server was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even made a fresh drink just for me. They offer a meal deal that includes so much food you probably won’t be able to finish it all. It's a fantastic spot for breakfast any time of the day, and the waffles are absolutely delightful. The prices are very reasonable, and the place is accessible for those with disabilities. The food arrives quickly and piping hot. The decor is simple and the building is small but clean. I've been to several Waffle Houses in the area, and they tend to keep the temperature a bit cooler, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket.

I took off one star because the waffles were flat and kind of separated. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The air conditioning was out, and you could tell the poor staff were struggling in the heat, but they always greeted customers with smiles and maintained their excellent service. They worked well as a team, and the food was served promptly. Overall, great job all around!

This Waffle House is cozy and clean, with polite waitstaff. The food is fresh, delicious, and served promptly at the table. We really enjoy having breakfast there.
