As others mentioned, be prepared to be very busy for this place. I went around 17 o'clock on Thursday, and the whole first stage was packed. there is a second stage that was quieter, but heavy traffic around the buffet area made eating a little angry. many eat on the buffet, prepared with some stack dishes on the back of the square. many soups, sweet, mock meat, noodles, rice and a small selection of cakes too. when they are cool with crowds, definitiw a good place to get a budget, stomach filling meal. also very easy to find, the first place on the right side after passing through the drum tower to the north. also has a small luke for quick take-away options.

Let me first say that everything was served totally vegan, although I am not sure if that is the norm. for 25 rmb to their plate as often as they want, they cannot go wrong. this place sits directly at the entrance (or exit? in gulou on gongyuan lu and is super easy to find. Eating is great, and there are so many dishes. they are constantly comprehensible as it goes fast, sometimes with different tasty dresses. I came here by midday on a Sunday and it was ridiculously crowded. it only took a few minutes to find a place because people always seemed to come and go. you only get a plate, a bowl and a Velcro to use all the time. I come back to ningbo in a few months and will of course visit here again.
