Dock 77 - Nisswa

Fantastic location on Gull Lake. New menu is spectacular. Service is amazing. Thanks Mel, Troy and Suze. Manager Nicole great! QD on the lake is a must!

We had a special Sunday family brunch to get our 92 year old dad out of his nursing home, and my 92 year mom from her assisted living. We got a wheelchair van and had the family meet us at Dock 77. They were so incredibly accommodating. They gave our group a large space to use that was easy for wheelchairs and walkers to move in. They allowed my dad to order eggs the way he loves them even though they were not on the menu in any way. They never tried to shoo us out. We stayed for over 3 hours. Our waiter was fantastic. 19 people can be overwhelming. But he was attentive, professional, and very go with the flow. They really worked with us and understood that this was special for our family. Operation Christmas Cheer was a big success, and Dock 77 played a big role in that. Thank you very much.

The restaurant served delicious, hot meals quickly, and the bar offered my wife and me some of the best cocktails we've had in the United States. I usually try two or three drinks at each hotel bar since I like to sample their specials, and this place definitely stood out. As for the rooms, they exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend requesting a room on the upper floor. The high ceilings, fireplace, and decor were stunning. It truly felt like we were by the seaside, and the ambiance made the room feel more like a home than a hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The food is quite good for a resort, but we were constantly bothered by flies. I don’t think this is a regular issue, but it definitely took away from what could have been a 5-star experience. Dock 77 has a wonderful atmosphere, with friendly, attentive, and well-organized staff. The cocktails were delightful, and the Old Fashioned came with a nice large ice cube! The only downside for me were the flies. Just look at the size of those ribs—huge!

We visited Dock 77 for Valentine's Day and it exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic, the service was quick and friendly, and we enjoyed a stunning view of Gull Lake. Plus, I came home with a lovely hoodie! We can’t wait to return this summer!
