Cicada Lodge - NITMILUK

The food, location and service is always exactly what it should be. Our special occasion restaurant of choice.

We stayed two nights on the Green Season special. The room was spectacular- lots of space, super comfy bed and a lovely outlook through natural bush and out to the Gorge. The welcome drinks by the pool were lovely and the canapés were delicious. The style is very 'Eco Lodge' - luxury NT style. It is within easy walking distance of the visitor centre and the lodge staff were happy to help book a Gorge cruise. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the wifi didn't work on the first day - and as Telstra is the only phone company with reception it meant we had no contact with the outside world. We will definitely stay again!

Cicada is a piece of luxury but in a very NT style. It's comfortable and relaxed, no glitz - perfect! The service from the small team was fantastic and the food innovative with good use of local ingredients but not fussy.

Very personal service, great location, beautiful rooms and food. Interesting other guests. We would definitely return!

Family turned away for dinner and breakfast because they didn't have enough food. By family I am referring to 4 people for dinner and 3 for breakfast of which 2 people were guests of the hotel and should have been catered for by default. For $600 per night to be told there isn't enough food and you have to eat elsewhere is just appalling.
