Bawabet Al Gantaq Golden - Nizwa

This is a very simple place. It looks from the outside like a working man's Cafe. At first I was a bit nervous about going in., but I should not have worried! The restaurant is in two parts. Public place at the front and a more private space which they use mostly for tourists and families. The menu is mainly Indian or Pakistani. That evening I wasn't feeling very hungry so I didn't fancy anything from the standard menu. But the restaurant where brilliant and they made me some lovely spicy scrambled eggs with Indian bread. The service is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a very interesting local eating experience.

Very tasty food, simple though clean environment, nice service and an advantage for your wallet

This place is on the right side gasse of the muskatbank. amazing crispy prata. great eating and service! they need to ask for the full menu and ask for less / not seasoned whether they are not used to season. the owner is very nice and on earth! we've done almost everything!

The restaurant looks very simple and not. I even didn't want to try, but I have to say that eating was very delecious. everything we had ordered had very good taste and very friendly service. I would strongly recommend it!

Beautiful staff. went up and beyond to offer a unique and authentic experience. delicious food. excellent portion sizes. wonderful hospitality.
