Bidra med feedbackWe were looking for a place to eat and found that the local pubs didn't serve food after 8:30 pm so we ended up opposite our hotel Savoy. This Korean place is fantastic, and most visitors are actually Korean or Asian so you know you will get good Asian food! We were seated at the bar, two persons so it worked out nicely. We were recommended some dishes that we tried and they were great! Big portions and maybe not cheap but definitely worth the price! We would highly recommend it to couples or friends going out for a bite. (We were mother and grownup son visiting Düsseldorf for the Tour de France)
Since the owner and apparently also the cook have sold the load, it is really a downgrade. Not only that everything has become more expensive again, there were some dips deleted. but not the osam bulgogi, but unfortunately completely different from we knew it. less marinade, meat and inkfish, for this 70% champignons and tweepers. the sauce is so much less that it tastes almost nix. you should have been frying for longer. Now comes the all-rounder: You don't get to eat rice for free as is usual in Korean cuisine! we had to pay 0.50 euro for a half-full!)( dish rice.Ne thank you, then I prefer to go to ginseng (also oststr).
At night no more .tolle Korean cuisine, good price/performance ratio and cool atmosphere to go to the late night good food ... again at any time!
An oriental bar where you can drink oriental beers and bar meals, frequented mainly by oriental people it is unusual but i felt a little out of plce being on my own.
A surprise Korean inside what looks like a typical German kneipe exterior! The décor is interesting - they've let people run riot with marker pens to achieve an unusual effect which at first might seem a little daunting but actually adds a nice touch.I'm guessing this fusion of German-Korean is down to some intermarriage of the cultures between the management. Whatever it is, it somehow works. And in keeping with this combination, after starting with some grilled dim sum affair, I ordered what looked like a schnitzel with an Asian chutney sauce. And boy, what a flavour! It just seemed to interplay nicely. My advice is, spy something on the menu, take a punt, and go for it! Highly recommended.
