Bidra med feedbackHave discovered the hunkar because I had time to drive until my train. only 5 minutes from the main railway station I got a very tasty döner there, but they also offer many more Turkish foods that also looked very good. will surely go back to my next düsseldorf stay and try other things. atmospähre in restaurant and mobiliar is rather cafeteria moderate and also no longer brand new, so not necessarily what a romantic dinner, but overall very clean and comfortable to sit.
We go here regularly because we just eat well. However, in the upper restaurant days, not at the bottom of the "sip" part.Besides there is a wide selection of Turkish people who do not exist below. the price is also higher (but still very moderate!).So you pay top for the restaurant atmosphere if you want. The service is friendly and the eating qualitatiw high quality and quite traditionally Turkish. times the portions are larger, sometimes smaller, but so far it has always been a little too much for me. we have already tried out some Turkish restaurants in whole düsseldorf (mostly far higher priced) and have always come back to hünkar. I recommend to everyone the dish "hünkar begendi", consisting of delicate grilled lamb pieces in auberginenpüree . in front of the actual court there is of course also always a small brot and dip appetizer from the house and at the end a small black tee.
It was late night and after party we were very hungry. we had no clue what to eat and we saw this shop. we had very nice kebab with rice and curry with salad. they grilled the chicken on the coal. it has very different taste. i don't know why we found it really good whether we were too much hungry or it was really good god knows but at least once you should visit this place and try this chicken grilled on coal
Eating is good. grill dishes super, only the portions can be bigger. otherwise everything is okay. the toilet is not clean.
This may just look like another Kebab shop or if you prefer a late night Turkish style restaurant. I have to say that I came in to wait for airport bus to Weeze early Sunday morning, decided on Tavuk Sis which is basically just a chicken kebab done over hot coals with rice and small side salad and a few chunks of pita style bread. Thoroughly enjoyed food was very tasty and the red chilli pepper had a nice kick. No complaints will eat here again.
