I would not recommend this place. that was in order, but when I was told what was my bill, I didn't understand why it was so much. I asked, and he (the chef and the owner) said that the water was 4,50 € 4,50 for water? I can. to make a giant beer. a quantity if my teller only €8,50 there are many other restaurants in the environment.
I ran over matars restaurant while I was looking for a vegetarian vegan friendly place in düsseldorf and it was worth visiting. my friend had lenses weizen hamburger with yogurt and I had the sesam crepes with spinach and cheese filling. both were delicious, but his was better;. as starters we had a plate with grilled aubergines, zucchinis, paprika, mushrooms and cheese, which was also delicious. the brot, by the way, the fladen as the pitta came on our table warm and with perfect texture. in any case, it is worth coming by and enjoying the experience!
I wouldn't recommend this place. The food was fine, but when I was told what my bill was I didn't understand why it was so much. I asked, and he (the cook and owner) said the water was €4.50. €4.50 for tap water? I can get a giant beer for that anywhere else. Kind of a lot when my plate was only €8.50. There are lots of other restaurants in the area. Avoid this one.
I ran across Matar's restaurant while looking for a vegetarian-vegan friendly place in Duesseldorf. And it was totally worth the visit. My boyfriend had lentils-wheat-hamburgers with yogurt and I had the sesame crepes with spinach and cheese filling. Both were delicious, but his was better ;). As a starter, we had a plate with grilled aubergines, zucchinis, peppers, mushrooms and cheese which was also delicious. The bread, by the way - both the fladen as the pitta - came to our table warm and with perfect texture. Definitely worth coming by and enjoying the experience!
