Hampton Inn By Hilton - Norfolk

First free wifi is modem locked threw a website so 3rd party connections won't work, example, ps5, switch, so on. Getting charged 700$ for 2 nights. Just to get here and find the guy next to me has 5 dogs and can hear threw the walls. The A/C unit is a dinosaur, clearly and rebought revamped existing building that cut corners on air upgrades. The rooms are damp the beds are hard. The linnens are stiff and feel like they came from the dollar store, the towels are of a low grade hotel as well more like a water repellent paper. And their amazing breakfast is liquid eggs or dry toast with gravy same as a 50 dollar a night hotel. I don't recommend and won't be back. Hotels are a joke nowadays.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and room size was adequate. I found actually sleeping here was very uncomfortable. We did not find the beds comfortable. The A/C was a window unit that blasts freezing air on short bursts, so the room was freezing or hot. And there was a strange blinking light on the ceiling all night. All these things made sleeping difficult. $75 non-refundable pet fee also seems ridiculous. I don't feel the price matched the value.

Rooms are clean. The pool felt wonderful. The people that work there are very accommodating and nice. Close to food and shopping.
