Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Norfolk

I have updated my rating to 2 stars. Twice before 10 a.m., I received an automated apology message in the drive-thru speaker saying they were closed. Tonight, the message played twice, and then someone finally spoke to take my order, even though I was already pulling away. I'm not sure if they consistently try to close early, but it’s definitely frustrating when you arrive during their advertised open hours. When I left between 9:30 and 10, there was no one at the drive-thru. If they are indeed closing early, they really need to update their business hours.

I had to use the app and drive thru because they were not open for the service.. I thought I only had the nuggets, but somehow I got the food. Luckily it was $8. Everything was very felt. Will definitely go to other places.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They have no issue charging for their food, but I was left waiting forever while the staff played on their phones. If I were the owner, I would either hire new employees or just close the place down. The service was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it. Save your money and your time.

I haven't dined in at this restaurant, but I've visited several times to pick up delivery orders. They are consistently understaffed, resulting in incredibly long drive-thru lines. On my last visit, the dining room was closed, which only made the wait slower. Additionally, they frequently have low stock or are completely out of certain items, and these updates aren't reflected in apps like Uber Eats or DoorDash. This has led to order cancellations and wasted time for me as a delivery driver.

Every time I order delivery my food is wrong. I get spicy instead of mild, the wrong sauces, or no sauces at all......small sides instead of large when I add on. It feels like there's absolutely no customer consideration put into the delivery orders. It ruins my meal every time I get the wrong thing, and its never fun having to deal with being itchy after mistakenly biting into a spicy chicken strip when I had ordered mild. Would not recommend this location.
