Pho Thai Nam - Norristown

I usually like this place but I am shocked at the small take out portion! This was $19! The portion is so small! I don?t know if they went skimpy for take out but this is unacceptable. I got the special pho that had one small piece of tendon. Other places give so much more. I was also told hoisin sauce was in the bag which it is not.

I don't even know why this place is over 4 star because they didn't even put sauces or any vegetables (hot peppers and etc) on the side to the order and compare to other restaurant the food is not even good. You think since this place is little but expensive than other place, it will be better but it's the worst. It was a total waste of money.

Very good Vietnames and Thai combo restaurant. Both the spring roll and fried rolls as appetizers were tasty. Pho (special pho) had clean but rich flavored taste. Pad Thai had a bit stronger (saltiness) taste than usual at other restaurants but in a better way. The negative was on the sautéed eggplant with chicken which was quite watery, losing the thicke, flamed sauce that cling to the chunks for better integration of flavors. I used to go here all the time before the pandemic and would get big bowls of Pho, excellent portions and leave stuffed. Just ordered the Massaman curry thru door dash and the portion was absolutely pathetic. Paid $14 for this before taxes, delivery fee and tip. Looks like it should be the leftovers. I may do Pho here again but never anything else. Note: Paper plate is 8? round for comparison.
